In the third period the tides had turn to Detroit putting pressure on the Penguins by hitting the poles a couple of times but Ericsson scores to make it 2-1, and in the dying seconds of the period Marc-Andrei Fluery made a HUGH save on Nik Listrom to win the Stanley CUP! Pittsburgh Penguins is your 2009 NHL Stanely Cup Champions. Well it looks like Hossa didn’t pick the right team and Pittsburgh defied all odds to win it.
